Only eat when you are hungry and stop when you are comfortably full. Drink a lot of water throughout the day. Double or triple the amount of healthy fats you normally intake. Count only the carbs and not calories.
What can you eat in unlimited amounts? Vegetables that grow above ground. For the first 4 weeks, unlimited amounts of fat (coconut oil, ghee, butter, olive oil), whole eggs, cheese, avocados, paneer, fish, etc. Fats are your best friend, eating fat doesn’t make you fat or increase your cholesterol level.
What you should avoid completely. All forms of grains such as rice, wheat, white flour, ragi, millet, quinoa, maida, legumes such as peanuts, all forms of dhals, sugar, soda pop, fruits and fruit juices.
What about proteins. Moderate amounts of proteins such as one cup of yogurt a day or a fist size of meat.
